LAN B787 routes revealed
The Chilean carrier LAN has revealed its first airportS to be served by the newly-aquired B787. These cities will be: Buenos Aires, Lima, Los Angeles, Madrid and Frankfurt.
The delivery of the first 26 B787 is expected for late 2012. The aircraft will be powered by Rolls Royce Trent 1000, and will all be configured with 217 Economy seats and 30 Business class seats.

11 new A330-300s for Garuda Indonesia
The Indionesian carrier Garuda placed an order for 11 Airbus A330-300s on April 11, for a value of $2.4 bilion. The signing ceremony in Jakarta was attended by Indonesian president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and by British Prime Minister David Cameron. This new order brings the total of A330-300s in service with the airline to 21. All this aircraft are, or will be, powered by Rolls Royce Trent 700 engines.

ANA and Boeing making history
All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Boeing made history when, on April 16, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner flew for the first time partly powered by biofuel. The delivery flight of JA808A (c/n 34490) also marked the first transpacific flight of the B787. The biofuel were mainly derived from used cooking oil and emission were of an estimated 30% less.
